Padawan: In order to move up in rank from Padawan, You must be trained by a Knight, or Master.
Knight: In order to move up from Knight, you must either perform a great service to the Order, or train one Padawan to Knight status
Master: The only way to move up from Master, is into the council. To do this, you must have been asked to join, and have a referal of a Council Member, and be approved by the Jedi Grandmaster

Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.
A Jedi may Not engage in a fight, without due cause. The only exception, is a Sith Threat.*
A Jedi may not partake in any illegal activities, on any planet, unless otherwise instructed.*
A Padawan may not wear the uniform of a Knight, A Knight may not wear the uniform of a Master, etc.
A Knight may wear either his Knight uniform, or that of a Padawan.
No Member of the Order can be placed in the council without reaching Master level, with the only exception being Zedus Arklight
A Jedi may never strike another Jedi in the order, unless they are attacked first.*
Jedi may never be seen causing harm to someone who does not deserve it.*

Major Crimes can be punished by demotion, and if the acts continue, Stripping of power, and exile
Minor Crimes will result in probationary period, and demotion if continued </div>
